National Lung Cancer Screening Day

November 11, 2023, is National Lung Cancer Screening Day. In partnership with the American College of Radiology, Sumner Station is hosting a Lung Cancer Screening Day with appointments available from 7:30am to 12:00pm.

Lung Cancer Risk Factors:

If you are a smoker, former smoker, have a family history of lung cancer, or have been exposed to carcinogens or secondhand smoke, a low-dose CT lung cancer screening could save your life.

You may be eligible for a low-dose CT lung cancer screening if:

• Between the ages of 50-80
• Smoker or have quit smoking within the last 15 years
• Now or ever smoked at least one pack of cigarettes per day for 20 years OR two packs
  daily for ten years
